- The "Blonde": an ice cream infused with a beautiful blonde beer, fresh orange peel and coriander...

- "Wee Heavy": made with Belhaven's "Wee Heavy" Scottish ale, this ice cream is accented with caramel and salt...

- The "Stout": the Belhaven Stout makes for a perfect base in creating a chocolate stout ice cream... starts with chocolate, ends with stout... oh yes!

The Weekly Line-up!

Now that we are all settled in at our new location (113 E Street in Davis) we are all set to start our daily specials! These specials apply to the entire shop, so both ice cream AND cupcakes. Remember, our new storefront reads: Sugar Daddies.

So here is the line-up guys!

Monday: $1 Scoop Night, starting at 5pm

Tuesday: $2 Cupcakes (All Day!)

Wednesday: $5 Quarts (All Day!)

Thursday: $3 "Cowpie", for those of you not familiar, its our delicious ice cream sandwich made of two house-made cookies of your choosing and any one of our hand crafted ice creams!

Friday: $3.50 Milkshake Happy Hour! (4pm-7pm)

Sweet potatoes, sesame oil and balsamic... OH MY!

Tinkering in the ice cream laboratory today... roasted sweet potatoes and marshmallows anyone? Also playing with sesame oil ice cream; hoping that the toasty unique notes of sesame oil are only enhanced within the sweetness of the ice cream and does not overpower. The balsamic ice cream that was made yesterday will be tried today; we might need to apply a reduction, rather than just use straight balsamic. Only a short post right now, must get off to the "lab", but will update soon!

We are back baby!

Hello to all of our loyal following! We apologize for being absent for so long, but are extremely happy to announce that we are back! Teaming up with our friends at "Cupcake Craving", we created the new concept and storefront "Sugar Daddies" located in downtown Davis (113 E Street). Make sure to stop by for your ice cream fix, because we have what you NEED: hand crafted, house made ice cream, with flavors ranging from vanilla, chocolate and strawberry to unique experiences like salted caramel, avocado coconut and banana nut bread!

We are also happy to announce our continued presence at the Davis Farmer's Market. Our little booth is there on Wednesdays, serving our ice cream in the smoldering Davis heat... if you follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/daviscreamery) we will keep you updated on the new flavors that we are developing to try at the market!

Holiday Specials!

Hey everyone!

The staff here is getting ready for the holidays and can't wait to share our holiday creations with you! For ice cream, we are bringing out our egg nog, peppermint, and pumpkin pie ice creams, which are all "udderly delicious" of course!

For cookies, our frosted sugar cookies have changed from the Thanksgiving turkeys to the adorable frosted christmas trees, along with many other holiday designs such as snowmen and santa claus available at www.cookieconnection.com .

Last but not least, our cupcakes have some new monthly specials such as candy cane and apple spice.
